Festivalito Porteño (Constanta, Romania) 7 - 10 August , 2014


Alina, Olimpia and Adrian welcome you to the first edition of the Festivalito Porteño, an encuentro milonguero ready to embrace you in Mamaia Resort, Constanta (Romania) between 7-10 August 2014.
An intimate event, gender-balanced participants, wooden floor, traditional music played by well-known and loved DJs, lots of embraces... All in the frame of the wonderful Hotel Iaki, located in Romania's best-quality resort at the Black Sea. Bring your bathing suits, as sun, waves and beach are included ;)

Program:
Thursday: 22.00-22.30 - registration and welcome with a glass of sparkling wine; 22.30- 03.00- night milonga
Friday: 15.00-20.00 - afternoon milonga
22.30-04.30 - night milonga
Saturday: 15.00-20.00 - afternoon milonga
22.30-05.30 - night milonga
Sunday: 15.00-21.00 - despedida
21.00-23.00 - farewell pizza party
23.00-03.00 - afterparty

Registrations will open on April 7th, 9 pm local time. Places are limited to 120 participants, gender-balanced will be assured.

Price: 55 euro full package, including: all milongas, drinks (water, juice, wine, aperolspritz) and snacks, cookies and fruits during the milongas.

The Casino Hall, an elegant setting for our dancing embraces, will cuddle our feet with laminate parquet put specially for the Festivalito.

Accomodation: Mamaia Resort has numerous hotels within a wide range of facilities and prices, located one next to another along the Mamaia Boulevard. You can easily find and book what suits you best :). We will also select a nearby hotel for you (and ask for a special offer price), in order for you to be able to make the most of the social aspect of these 4 days, also outside the milongas. Meals: Possibilities for lunch and dinner are there every 50 metters or so (in addition to hotel restaurants), offering everything from fresh seafood and Romanian traditional restaurants to street/fast food.
(Note: Romania is an EU country, but it is not in the Euro-area. The local currency is RON (Romanian New Leu), Euro 1 = 4,5 RON.)

Transportation:
The International Airport Mihail Kogalniceanu Constanta is only 15 min of driving away. At the moment it has direct flights only to/from Istanbul, but from June, charter flights to/from Vienna and Paris will be introduced. Details to be announced soon.

From the Bucharest airport to Constanta there is a shuttle bus service, 3 hours drive on a motorway or we can organize to pick you up from there, please let us know in a private message.
